As Early Frost

In the movie “As Early Frost” of Djordje Balasevic I made a choreography for introduction scene where actress Jovana Balasevic enters in a café barroom. Choreography seems easy, light, and natural. My efforts paid off.

I took a part in an unusual play inspired by book “EX YU MYTHOLOGY” in a production of Belef Festival and theater troupe Jorik. Work on this play was researchable and was very productive. Premiere took place at Belef Festival 2008. Choreography and movement were make and researched trough process of creating the play.

Milena Pavlović Barili

“National Museum” in Zrenjanin hired me to make choreography and to rationalize fashion show for dresses that were sew according to paintings and sketches of magazine “Vogue” that Milena Pavlovic Barili made.

To break the monotony of space and to give an elite note to whole event, I managed to convince custodian of museum to yield me furniture from their permanent exhibit. I also explained to models what was like the 1930 and inspired them to get into the dipper side of whole event. I made a choreography and unusual event instead of classic fashion show.

The Emperor’s New Clothes

Acting Studio for Children “Theater Dream” and actress Jelena Antonijević (founder of Studio) hire me to make a choreography for their new play “The Emperor’s new Clothes”. My vision was to make children play again and to be just children, because they skip that period influenced by television. They pretend to be grownups!

Inspired by these children I also designed posters with my drawings and I made program book for play. All of these I managed with great help of Bojan Bajazatov, the student of Academy of Visual Art in Novi Sad

Cinderella

Aca Popovic wrote text that has breath of life and positive energy, full of music songs that we spiced with lot, lot of dance. We enriched the characters with gesticulations and movements.
I am proud of whole work that we did with joint efforts

Through Golden Gates

Nature, Space, Freedom of the flight of bird are disturbed by civilization.
The airplanes replace birds in the sky and the industry destroys primordial and natural.
Meditation.
The chase for essence, sense (meaning),
Discovery of tradition of an ancient people.
The search for knowledge what God thinks.

Choreographer Costume designer Performer: Sasa Krga

First performance took place at the Choreographer’s Miniature 2006 and then I set it for ballet soloist Jovica Begojev in “National Theatre” in Belgrade. With same choreography, I was one of the eight choreographers, which participated in Dance Form Production Festival in Avignon and it was declared as the best choreography and performance.

Impuls

I already three years create choreographies and costumes for dance school “Impuls”. Most of choreographies were awarded at domestic and international competitions and festivals.

I am very proud of two titles of national champions in category Contemporary Dance for Big and Small Formation in 2006.

Waltz of tied souls

Two Lunatics are in the sanatorium. New Lunatic has buzz in his head that changes into complete noise. Old Lunatic, in his head, makes music of noise. New Lunatic discovers way to hear in his head the waltz. Now, the Old Lunatic and the New Lunatic are dancing the waltz of tied souls.

I made and designed costumes to look like uniform with stronger parts on knee because the dancers have to dance with tied hands.

Desteny

Two people are born at the same place by destiny. They grew up together, fell in love and shared cosmic harmony. It seems like they are born under the lucky star but they gave up at the ordinary life problems. Instead to adjust to newly created situation, the situation made them to hold back their problems for the sake of establishment, this time, the fake peace.
Is that their destiny or something else? (Unusually union of perfect ballerina, actress and contemporary dancer)

The story of body and soul

This drama was done on a motive of a story with the same title, written by Milorad Pavic. Among other effects in the play were used sounds of balls that ring (usually used by blind goalkeepers).
This is my only play where I wasn’t the costume designer so Gordana Novakov took place instead.

The premiere was performed in honor of awarding prizes to the best-disabled athletes in “Serbian National Theatre” on December 2004.
